How to set up Grid2 in Midnight

This page tells you how to set up shields and overshields in Grid2:

• Shields show as an extension of current health.

• Overflows show in a different colour, anchored to the left (can also anchor to the right)

Setup

You'll need two multibars, one for health and one for overflow.

Health multibar

The main bar shows current health. Choose whatever colour you want.

Bar1 shows shields, anchor to previous bar. This will show any shields the target has but it clipped at max HP.

If you want heal-absorbs to show, you can add that bar:

And your background is whatever colour you want:

The layout options for the health multibar. Keep in mind Frame Level, as we'll need to make the other multibar higher than this one.

Overflow multibar

Now add a new multibar indicator and call it something like overflow. We're going to use health-deficit for this one to achieve the following:

First, add your health-deficit as the main bar. Colour doesn't matter as this will be offscreen. Make sure Direction is set to Reverse:

Bar1 is your shields again. Change the colour as you like and check the Direction/Anchor to:

And finally Layout. Make sure that the Frame Level is higher than your Health multibar level!

That's it, you now have a health bar with shields, overshields, health and heal absorbs.
