Damage Breakdown

This fight has several sources of raid wide ticking damage. Stalking Shadows is pulsed from the shades, Nether Rift happens every 30s (3 times per phase) and pulses damage. P2 has ticking damage whilst Blaze-style lines (Regicide) are going out.
Additionally there is an assassination mechanic, which (practically) kills anyone who drops below 10%. So consider your health pool 10% smaller.

In P1, the ticking damage is always overlapped with something - either the portal pull mechanic or Death Cloak (pulsing damage from boss).
Disc Viability
The Disc timers look good but I don't think you'd be able to ramp every Nether Rift with Mindbender (they're the same as Smolderon timings which had a lot less movement and a tier bonus that gave more pet cdr). It's still hard to tell what Mindbender timings will be like on beta because things are bugged, but ramping every 30s will probably not be doable.
Barrier is good as you're stacked during Nether Rift.
There are two things that question Disc's viability here:
Synergy with other healers
Nether Rift does damage but on a 30s timer, which may be perfect for what paladin wants to heal. If a paladin is doing the Nether Rift healing, what does Disc do? It's not well suited for healing the rot damage in between and healing lower damage events would be a waste due to overhealing.
Movement
There are a lot of mechanics here that require you to move and if the pet timing is tight, you might end up missing ramps.
I think you can stand still during Nether Rift and just spam casts (based on vods) but if the portals are slightly off and you need to run during it without Spatial, you will miss your next ramp.
Things to watch for
Disc cannot ramp during Nether Rift if we need to run during it (with good portal placement or Spatial I think we can plant though)
